Activity
Since March 2009, Birgit is Assistant Professor at the Martin Hilti Chair of Information Systems and Business Process Management (BPM). Additionally, she heads the Competence Centre on Enterprise Content Management (CC-ECM) established at the institute. Before joining the group she worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney (November 2006 until July 2008) and she was employed at the Institute of Distributed and Multimedia Systems at the University of Vienna. Birgit received her MSc. in Business Informatics from the Vienna University of Technology, Austria and her PhD from the University of Vienna, Austria. Furthermore, Birgit is Austrian Delegate to the United Nations and in this role she contributes to the standardization efforts of UN/CEFACT (United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business).
