Business Process Engineering (MSc)
Joining the Master’s programme in Business Process Engineering (MSc BPE) at University of Liechtenstein means learning in one of the most active BPM research groups in Europe. Four Professors, 15 senior lecturers and research assistants and around 20 visiting professors engage in the programme from all over the world and contribute to the high quality standard in teaching. Only 25 students a year enter the programme, which usually hosts more than 15 different nationalities.
Business Process Engineering
Every branch of industry demands complex problem solving skills from its business information experts. Potential occupational fields are extremely varied and range from IT project management functions to challenging advisory roles and leadership activities on strategic levels. Graduate career opportunities include positions in small and medium-sized enterprises as well as in multinationals in such fields as telecommunications, the automobile industry, financial services, and other sectors.
The master’s programme in Business Information Systems expands knowledge acquired in a related bachelor’s programme or diploma programme. Graduates of the master’s programme in Business Information Systems have at their disposal in-depth scientific and professional knowledge equipping them for future leadership positions.

Study Content and Concentration
The master’s programme is modularly structured and characterised by challenging scientific lectures and practice-oriented projects. A strong focus lies on strengthening scientific knowledge and skills. Programme concentrations are available in the areas of enterprise resource planning and financial information systems.

The master’s degree qualifies for a subsequent doctoral programme at the graduate school or at other universities.
Programme Duration
The full-time degree programme comprises 120 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) and usually includes four semesters.
Admission and Application Process
The master’s programme is open to business information professionals, business economists and computer scientists holding a first university degree (Bachelor, Dipl.-Ing., Mag., etc.) in economics. Acceptance is determined on the basis of the complete submission of the application documents and, if necessary, a selection interview. Applicants need to use the official application form and submit all required supplementary material prior to the application deadline.
