Philosophy
Entrepreneurial Management can be described as the entrepreneurial thinking and acting that pervades all stages and processes of a business. In essence it is about constantly finding innovative business opportunities and realising them successfully in the market. This creative realisation can take place in small, medium-sized or large businesses.
Educational objective
In the integral Entrepreneurial Management programme, students acquire basic knowledge of business management and learn how to solve complex management problems successfully. They debate entrepreneurial decision-making situations and discuss relevant management concepts and tools. Students learn to reflect their personal experience and work on their management competencies.
Participants
The integral Entrepreneurial Management programme targets graduates from technical colleges and universities with at least three years of management experience.
Titel
Participants who successfully pass all exams in the four semesters as well as their master’s thesis will be awarded the Executive MBA diploma and the Diploma Supplement. After successful completion of the study programme, the Hochschule Liechtenstein awards the title “Executive MBA in Entrepreneurial Management”.
Curriculum
The integral Entrepreneurial Management programme consists of nine modules. Each of these nine modules concludes with a written exam. The educational programme is supported by self-driven learning in groups. In the context of the master’s thesis, students show that they are capable of analytically and conceptually working on a self-chosen practical management problem from their everyday professional life and of documenting the solution in a comprehensive report.
Tuition
CHF 26'400.-
The tuition fees include the examination fees but not the costs of the teaching materials. For teaching materials add approx. CHF 300.00 per semester. Any excursion fees and accommodation costs are borne by the participants.
Duration of Study
The entire programme including master’s thesis takes four semesters. The master’s thesis must be written in the fourth semester. Teaching will take place on Friday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Language Competence
The principle language of study is German. Individual components will be held in English by international visiting professors. Both German and English study materials are used. Exams, project work and the business plan need to be written in German. The master’s thesis can be written in German or English.
Dates and registration
The programme begins regularly in mid August. Application deadline is 15 July.
Admission to the study programme is granted to any person who fulfils the criteria for admission and has submitted all registration documents and certificates before the deadline. Admission is determined according to the date on which registration documents are received. The course will only be carried out if at least 15 applications have been made. A maximum of 25 students will be accepted per course. If free places are available, interested parties may be admitted for individual modules.
The registration process starts with the submission of the Executive MBA registration form and the corresponding accompanying documents.
